Amy Nimz and Ross Benisch were married Aug. 8, 2009, at Celebration Community Church, Hays, with Pastor Kyle Ermoian officiating.

Parents of the couple are Mark and Joleen Nimz, WaKeeney, and Tim and Susan Benisch, Quinter.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Honor attendant was Nicole Satran, friend of the bride. Attendants were Brooke Newcomer, Jakki Jirak and Amanda Waymaster, friends of the bride, and Abby Benisch, sister of the groom.

Best man was Kirby Benisch, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Joel Polifka and Blaine Walt, friends of the groom, Chris Benisch, cousin of the groom, and Brandon Nimz, brother of the bride. Ushers were Brady Werth, Chad Miller and J.D. Johnson, friends of the groom, and Jason Benisch, cousin of the groom.

Flower girl was Regan McGathy, second cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Thomas Schneider, second cousin of the bride.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Trego Community High School, WaKeeney, and plans to graduate from Fort Hays State University in December with a bachelor's degrees in communication studies and Spanish.

The bridegroom is a 2005 Quinter High School graduate and a 2009 FHSU graduate with a bachelor's degree in geography. He is a crop consultant for Servi-Tech.

Following a wedding trip on a Caribbean cruise, the newlyweds are at home in McPherson.
