Johnny and Wanda Pannell, Hawkinsville, Ga., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Katie Pannell, to Aaron Soukup, son of Alvin and Anita Soukup, Dorrance,
Grandparents of the couple are the late Norbert and Albertine Haselhorst, the late Lewis Blanch Soukup, the late Eugene Elizabeth Crabb, and the late J.L. and Ruth Pannell, Rockmart, Ga.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Hawkinsville High School. She is a receptionist for Dr. Donald Rosenbaum at Orthopedics of Central GA, Hawkinsville.
The prospective bridegroom is a 1995 graduate of Wilson High School. He has been employed with Black Gold Potato Farm for 10 years and has been the production manager of the Hawkinsville farm for the past two years.
A Sept. 6, 2008, wedding is planned at Norriego Point, Destin, Fla.
