James and Sharla Pfeifer, Wichita, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Michaela Pfeifer to Clayton Stubbs, son of John and Eunice Stubbs, Abilene.

Grandparents of the couple are Dale and Gladys Pfeifer, Victoria, Larry and Sara Soukup, Kanopolis, Houston Stubbs, Quinter, the late Louise Stubbs, Eugene Fisher, Hutchinson, and the late Josephine Fisher.

The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Kapaun Mount Carmel Catholic High School, Wichita, and a December 2012 graduate of Kansas State University with a bachelor of science in accounting. She is a staff accountant at Capitol Federal, Topeka.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2008 graduate of Abilene High School and a December 2012 graduate of KSU with a bachelor of science in electrical engineering. He is a distribution automation engineer at Westar Energy, Topeka.

An April 26, 2014, wedding is planned at Resurrection Catholic Church, Bel Aire.
