Christopher and Marietta Pianalto, Bucklin, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Danielle M. Pianalto, to Ben Vigness, son of Jody and Katie Vigness, Bucklin.

Grandparents of the couple are Mavis Pianalto, Hays, Emanuel and Catherine Doll, Garden City, Emezy and John Vigness, Alexander, N.D., and Errol and Shirley Neal, Bucklin.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Bucklin High School and Dodge City Community College. She is planning to attend the University of Washington.

The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of BHS. He is in the Navy based in Washington state.

A June 27, 2009, wedding is planned at St. John Parish, Spearville.
