Debra Rogers, McCracken and the late David Rogers announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Emily Rogers, to Scott Keener, son of Jeff and Tacy Keener, Rush Center.

Grandparents are Walter and Jeanette Rogers, and Patricia Derr, all of McCracken, LeRoy George, La Crosse, and George Keener, Rush Center.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of La Crosse High School and 2007 graduate of Fort Hays State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She is a first-grade teacher at Ness City Elementary School.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of LHS and 2007 graduate of North Central Kansas Technical College. He works for Kansas and Oklahoma Railroad in track maintenance.

A June 6, 2009, wedding is planned at United Methodist Church, La Crosse.
