LeRoy and Norma Jean Ruder, Liberal, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday with a Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays, followed by a gathering at Schoenchen Community Center.
The couple has three children, Vincent and wife, Janet, Kemah, Texas; Michael and wife, Jennifer, and their three children, Harrison, Winifred and Thatcher, Olathe; and Ann Marie and her son, Tyler, and his fiance, Tabatha Hemphill, and his daughter, Rebecca, Pratt.
LeRoy and Norma Jean (Pfeifer) Ruder were married April 30, 1962, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
