Jodee Lynn Rummel and Douglas Boyd Reed were married March 14, 2009, at Bethesda Lutheran Church, Page City, with Pastor Jane Rothman, Goodland, officiating.

Parents of the couple are Kathy Rains, Oakley, the late Mike Rummel, Greg and Rebecca Boddicker, Hartford, S.D., and the late Dale Reed.

Honor attendant was Jamie Schmitt, friend of the bride. Attendant was Rachel See, friend of the bride.

Best man was Richard Russell, cousin of the groom. Groomsman was Robert Russell, cousin of the groom.

Flower girls were Julie Rummel, niece of the bride, and Molly Russell, cousin of the groom. The ring bearer was Pierce Rummel, nephew of the bride. Ushers were Kelly Rummel, brother of the bride, and Adam Weber, cousin of the bride.

The bride's personal attendant was Flora Rummel, sister-in-law of the bride. Candlelighters were Kayla Weber, cousin of the bride, and Lydia Peterson, friend of the couple.

The bride is employed at Oakley USD 274.

The groom is employed with the Kansas Highway Patrol.

A reception, dinner and dance followed the ceremony at the VFW Hall, Oakley.

Following a wedding trip to Washington, D.C., the newlyweds are at home in Oakley.
