Robert and Bonnie Rupke, Hays, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Daisha Marie Rupke, to Matthew Kyle Alderson, son of Tim and Melody Alderson, Hawesville, Ky.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Thomas More Prep-Marian High School and Fort Hays State University with a bachelor's degree.
The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Hancock County High School and Owensboro Community Technical College, where he received a welding certificate. He is employed at Casey Industrial.
A July 26, 2008, outdoor wedding is planned in Hays.
