Robert "Bob" L. and Marie Schmidtberger, Victoria, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Oct. 24, 2009, with a Mass at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria, followed by a dinner and dance hosted by their children at Knights of Columbus Hall, Victoria.

Children of the couple are Judy Rupp and husband, Rick, Jerry Schmidtberger and wife, Louise, Leroy Schmidtberger and wife, Lee Ann, Wayne Schmidtberger and wife, Marie, and Ron Schmidtberger and wife, Kim, all of Victoria, Gary Schmidtberger and wife, Wanda, Hays, and Patrick Schmidtberger, Wichita.

The couple have 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Robert L. Schmidtberger and Marie Bollig were married Oct. 17, 1949, at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria.
