Casey Schmidt and Nathan Wendel were married Nov. 9, 2013, at St. Catherine Church, Catharine, with Father Earl Befort, OFM Cap, officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mike and Ann Schmidt, Catharine, and Sean and Beverly Wendel, Ingalls.
The bride was escorted by her parents.
Honor attendant was Carly Schmidt, sister of the bride.
Attendants were Lindsey Schmeidler and Niki Smith, both cousins of the bride, and Katie Wicks, Katie Herman and Alyson Johnson, all friends of the couple.
Best man was Cam Stremel, friend of the couple. Best man from afar was Marty Wendel, brother of the groom.
Groomsmen were Jed Whipplinger, Tim Markloff and Jeff Green, all friends of the couple, Eric Wendel, brother of the groom, and Michael Schmidt, brother of the bride.
Ushers were John Jones, Kyle Schmidt and Ryan Schmidt, all cousins of the bride. Candlelighters were Rebecca Good and Elizabeth Wendel, both sisters of the groom.
Flowergirl was Brooklyn Good, niece of the groom.
Ringbearers were Leo Schmeidler, cousin of the bride, and Brenden Ellis, nephew of the groom.
The bride is a graduate of Hays High School and Fort Hays State University. She is a school psychologist for the Junction City school district.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Ingalls High School and FHSU. He is a industrial technology instructor at Chapman High School.
The couple will be taking a wedding trip to Canada later this year. The newlyweds are at home in Chapman.
