Alan and Rikki Betts, Hays, and Darrell Schremmer, Hutchinson, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Sarah Ann Schremmer, to Paul Fredric Wamser, son of Arthur and April Wamser, Chesterfield, Mo.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Hays High School and Fort Hays State University. She is manager for the vision center at the Shawnee Wal-Mart.
The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Chaminade College Prep, St. Louis, and University of St. Mary. He is branch manager for Commerce Bank, Leawood, Mo.
An Aug. 16, 2008, wedding is planned at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays.
