Schroer-Johnson
Lyle and Donna Schroer, Lawrence, Neb., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Melissa Schroer, to Brett Johnson, son of Ed and Dana Johnson, Towner, N.D.
Grandparents of the couple are LaVon and Gordon Hagboe, the late Lloyd and Margaret Johnson, the late Art Schoenborn, Lyle and Rita Bergfield, Hemingford, Neb. and Hubert and Alma Schroer, Lawrence, Neb.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Lawrence High School and Colby Community College. She is physical therapist assistant at Hays Medical Center.
The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Towner High School and University of North Dakota with a master's degree in occupational therapy. He is an occupational therapist at Hays Medical Center.
A July 12, 2008, wedding is planned at Messiah Lutheran Church, Hays.
