Allen and Vicki Schuler, Ness City, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Stephanie Schuler, to Brent Hansen, son of Betty Hansen, Hays, and Jeffrey Hansen, Springfield, Mo.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Ness City High School and Kansas State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance. She is a tax analyst for Black and Veatch, Overland Park.

The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Victoria High School and KSU with a bachelor's degree in architecture. He is employed at Populous, Kansas City, Mo.
