Lindsay Schweitzer and Tyson Flax were married July 18, 2009, at Christ the King Catholic Church, WaKeeney, with Father Don Pfannenstiel, officiating.

Parents of the couple are Wally and Tammy Schweitzer, Ransom, and Kenneth and Connie Flax, WaKeeney.

Grandparents are the late Wallace and Burdene Schweitzer.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Honor attendant was Joni Kisslinger, cousin of the bride. Attendants were Kyleigh Flax, cousin of the bride, and Barbie Flax, sister of the groom.

Best man was C.J. Pfannenstiel, friend of the couple. Groomsmen were Travis Flax, brother of the groom and Dusty Billinger, friend of the couple.

Ushers were Zach Schweitzer, brother of the bride, and Kyle Rohleder, friend of the couple. Candlelighters were Cherell and Emmit Owens, cousins of the groom. Flower girl was Daria Kisslinger, cousin of the bride.

The bride graduated from Ransom High School and Fort Hays State University. She is a secretary at WaKeeney USD 208.

The bridegroom graduated from Trego Community High School, WaKeeney, and FHSU. He is a draftsman at Enersys, Hays.

Following a wedding trip to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., the newlyweds are at home in WaKeeney.
