Drs. Warren and Pam Shaffer, Hays, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary Saturday.

Children of the couple are Zachary Shaffer and fiance, Jaxinta Parra, Tempe, Ariz., and Leah Shaffer and husband, Cooper Priess, St. Charles, Mo.

The couple has two grandchildren, Ella Louise Shaffer and Benjamin Felix Priess.

Warren and Pamela (Schmidt) Shaffer were married June 16, 1972, at White Rock Mountain, Ark.
