Jim and Lola Simon
Jim and Lola Simon, Plainville, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 9 with a reception hosted by their children from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Senior Center, Plainville. The couple requests no gifts.
Children of the couple are Mike Simon and wife, Marilyn, and Stanley Simon and wife, Maria, all of Plainville, and Jolene McElroy and husband, Roy, Wheelersburg, Ohio.
The couple have seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Jim and Lola Simon were married Aug. 7, 1948, at St. Patrick Church, Wichita.
