Sid and Joanne Steinert, Hays, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 1 with a Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Munjor; followed by a reception and dinner at VFW, Hays.
Children of the couple are Brian Steinert and wife, Kayleen, Christi Augustine and husband, Terry, all of Hays, and Jason Steinert, Munjor.
The couple have nine grandchildren, Lindsy Allen and husband, Matt, Nicole Steinert, Ashley, Courtney, Aubrey and Chelsey Augustine, all of Hays, Devin and Gage Steinert, Munjor, and the late Dustin Steinert.
The couple have four great-grandchildren, Kyleigh, Sophia and Raegan Allen, all of Hays.
The couple have a step-granddaughter, Nichole Hutchings, Wichita, and a step-great-granddaughter, Jaden Armstrong, Wichita.
Sid and Joanne (Dinkel) Steinert were married Sept. 8, 1962, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays.
