Sara Marie Stoecklein and Wayne Bryan Shepheard II were married Oct. 6, 2012, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays, with Father Mike Scully officiating.

Parents of the couple are Eldon and Mary Stoeckiein, Hays, Shaun Gardner, Los Angeles, and Wayne Shepheard, Winnsboro, La.

Grandparents of the couple are Earl and Vada Stoecklein, Ervin and Helen Koerner, all of Ness City, and Andrea Gardner, Lanacaster, Calif.

The bride was escorted by her parents.

Honor attendant was Michelle Kelsey, sister of the bride. Attendants were Kimberly Stoecklein, sister-in-law of the bride, Maddie Herman, Rebecca Shields, Sharlie Staab and Kelsi Hoffman, all friends of the bride.

Best man was James Walker, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Brandon Austin, brother of the groom, Elijah James, Devine Jackson, Blake Mcahern and Chase Leake, all friends of the groom. Groomsman in memoriam was O.J. Murdock, friend of the groom.

Flower girl was Ava Kelsey, niece of the bride. Ringbearers were Jack Stoecklein and Oliver Stoecklein, both nephews of the bride, and Karter Frowner, cousin of the groom.

Ushers were Chad Stoecklein and Garrett Stoecklein, both brothers of the bride, and Jordan Kelsey, brother-in-law of the bride.

Personal attendants were Renae Willey and Dana Schumacher, both cousins of the bride.

The newlyweds are at home in Lenexa.
