Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer N. Stoneman III., Varina, Va., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Katharine Renee Stoneman, to Lloyd Eugene Tuttle, son of Mr. Terry M. Cox, Ms. Mary A. Tuttle, both of Park, and the late Mr. Lester L. Tuttle.

The bride-elect received bachelor's degrees from Virginia Tech and a master's degree from Kansas State University. She is a sales representative for a worldwide agricultural seed and chemical company.

The prospective bridegroom works for a large agricultural retailer in northeast Arkansas.

An Oct. 26, 2013, wedding is planned at Historic Mankin Mansion, Richmond, Va.
