Straub-Cartlidge
Martin and Mary Straub, Hays, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Stacia Straub, to Matthew Cartlidge, son of Mike and Karen Cartlidge, Yukon, Okla.
Grandparents are Carroll Bruggeman, Lillian Hoffhaus and Lucy Cartlidge.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Hays High School and plans to graduate in May from Fort Hays State University with degrees in Spanish and secondary education.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Great Bend High School and a 2008 graduate of FHSU with a degree in geography. He is pursuing a master's degree in geography at Kansas State University.
A Dec. 27, 2008, wedding is planned at St. Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church, Hays.
