Suppes-Baalmann

Christine Jane Suppes and Mark Joseph Baalmann were married March 7, 2009, at St. Anne Catholic Church, Olmitz, with Father Ultan Murphy and Father Rene Labrador officiating. A reception, dinner and dance was at St. Michael Parish Center, La Crosse, after Mass.

Parents of the couple are Sherry Suppes, Augusta, Ga., Patrick and Kathleen Suppes, Otis, and Bill and Ruth Baalmann, La Crosse.

The bride was escorted by the groom.

Honor attendant was Julie Suppes, sister of the bride. Attendants were Amy Suppes, sister of the bride, Becky Hancock, sister of the groom, and Kezia Hesed and Vanessa Hermes, both friends of the bride.

Best man was Kevin Baalmann, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Pat Baalmann, Brian Baalmann, Jeff Baalmann and Mike Baalmann, brothers of the groom.

Candlelighters were Makenna Hancock and Keith Hancock, niece and nephew of the groom. Flower girl was Johannah Baalmann, daughter of the couple. Ringbearers were Austin Baalmann and Kaden Baalmann, nephews of the groom. Honorary ringbearer was Ryland Baalmann, nephew of the groom. Ushers were James Suppes and Matthew Suppes, brothers of the bride, and Alan Sramek and Jerrod Morgan, friends of the groom.

The bride is employed by Tony Rues Law Office, La Crosse and plans to graduate in May from Fort Hays State University with a degree in political science with an emphasis in pre-law.

The groom is a police officer for the La Crosse Police Department.

Following a wedding trip to Cozumel, Mexico, the newlyweds at home in La Crosse.
