Jeff and Deb Turnbull, Plainville, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Ashleigh Turnbull, to Ian Mabb, son of Gary and Leigh Mabb, Hays.

Grandparents of the couple are Bill and Marcelle Strouse and Jack and Nola Turnbull, all of Plainville, Marge Johnson, Hays, the late John Johnson, and the late Clarence and Jessie Mabb.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Plainville High School, a 2007 graduate of Fort Hays State University, and is pursuing a degree in nursing at North Central Kansas Technical College. She is employed at Rooks County Health Center, Plainville.

The prospective groom is a 2000 graduate of Hays High School, a 2003 graduate of Colby Community College, and attended FHSU. He is employed at Nabors Completion and Production Services, Hays.

A March 16, 2013, wedding is planned at First Christian Church, Plainville.
