Vap-Stickane

Ashlea Vap and Scott Stickane were married June 13, 2009, in Wichita by the Rev. Gary Johnson and Daniel Keller, uncle of the bride.

Parents of the couple are Jeff and Jan Vap, La Crosse, and Carl and Sandy Stickane, Trophy Club, Texas.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Honor attendants were Andrea Vap, twin sister of the bride, and Anna Beth Marintzer, sister of the bride. Attendants were Traci Werner, Jenna Wann, Abby Brownback and Hannah Anderson, all friends of the bride. Flower girl was Kate Born, friend of the groom.

Best man was Daniel Stickane, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Cole Vap, brother of the bride, Sam Brady, Steve Heron, Josh Born and Blake Avery, all friends of the groom. Ringbearer was Grady Vap, cousin of the bride, and honorary ringbearer was Mason Cole Marintzer, nephew of the bride. Candlelighters were Elizabeth Gienger and Holly Keller, cousins of the bride.

Special music was Derek Christophel and Jenna Huston.

The bride is a graduate of Kansas State University and Washburn University.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Texas A&M University and will graduate in May with a master's degree from the University of Kansas.

Following a wedding trip to Costa Rica, the newlyweds are at home in Mission.
