David L. and Gail F. Vaughan, Hays, celebrated their 40th anniversary with a family get-together July 4, 2009.
The couple took a two-week trip to Rapid City, S.D.
Children of the couple are Micheal and Stephanie Eckroat and Kristie Vaughan, all of Hays.
They have five grandchildren.
David L. Vaughan and Gail F. Clark were married June 20, 1969, in Shawnee Mission.
