Leo and Dorothy VonFeldt, Palco, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Amy VonFeldt, to Michael Melendez, son of Deanna Melendez, Hays.
The bride-elect is a 1992 graduate of Palco High School and Fort Hays State University. She is employed at Adronics/Elrob Manufacturing and Maurices.
The prospective bridegroom is a 1989 graduate of Palco High School and North Kansas Central Technical College. He is employed at AutoTech.
An Oct. 31, 2009, wedding is planned at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays.
