Carrie Waite and Jason Reece were married May 24, 2008, at All Faiths Chapel, Kansas State University, with the Rev. Rob Schmutz and Father Keith Weber officiating.

Parents of the couple are Janet and Daniel Legg, Green, and Connie and Michael Waite, Mankato, and Teresa and Lyle Reece, Rozel.

Honor attendant was Stephanie Corwin. Attendants were Marcia Gier, Jennifer Waite, Abilene, and Traci Reece, Hays.

Best men was Cory Reece, La Crosse, and Brett Ayers, Russell Springs.

Groomsmen were Brock Miller and Matt Deyle. Ushers were Jarad Waite, Dustin Waite, Collin Reece and Mike Schwartz. Candlelighters were Kala and Tyson Steffen.

Flower girl was Hannah Grennan, niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Grant Waite, nephew of the bride.

The bride is a graduate of Osborne High School, Cloud County Community College and Kansas State University, with a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. She will be teaching fifth grade in Larned.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Pawnee Heights High School, Rozel, and Fort Hays State University with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice studies. He is an officer with the La Crosse Police Department.

Following a wedding trip to Cozumel, Mexico, the newlyweds are at home in La Crosse.
