Albert and Alberta Walt, Ness City, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 6, 2009, with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Sacred Heart School cafeteria, Ness City. The couple requests no gifts.

Children of the couple are Bonnie VonLintel, Elkhart, Connie Schwindt, Judy and Marty Klitzke, all of Ness City, Tom Walt, Utica, Brenda and Craig Stoecklein, Hays, Debbie and Michael Bollinger, Gilbert, Ariz., and Traci Walt, Lee's Summit, Mo.

Cards can be sent to them at 406 S. School, Ness City, KS 67560.

Alberta Zimmerman and Albert Walt were married Oct. 12, 1959, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Grinnell.
