Forty-seven Fort Hays State University students have been accepted into the 2014 "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges."

Local recipients include:

Colby: Jaylea Black, senior, social work; Ashley Heier, senior, art.

Damar: Randa Linner, senior, elementary education.

Downs: Joel Cushing, senior, health and human performance.

Grinnell: Clement Fellhoelter, senior, agricultural business.

Hays: Stephanie Demuth, senior, music education; Jacqueline Gallentine, senior, radiologic technology; Autumn Leiker, senior, nursing; Karla Murguia, senior, justice studies; Chiagoziem Okeke, senior, accounting; Marie Schaller, senior, health and human performance; Hsing-Yu Wu, senior, music.
