Williams named All-American Scholar

The U.S. Achievement Academy announced that Zack Williams, Wichita, has been named an All-American Scholar.

The USAA has established the All-American Scholar Award program to offer deserved recognition to superior students who excel in the academic disciplines. The All-American scholars must earn a 3.3 or higher grade point average. Only scholars selected by a school instructor, counselor or other qualified sponsor are accepted.

Williams who attends Marshall Middle School was nominated for this honor by Cristina Moore and he will appear in the All-America Scholar Yearbook which is published nationally.

Williams is the son of Leslie Williams, Wichita, and Alan Owens, WaKeeney, grandson of the late Dean and Patty Wiliams, and Mary Owens, WaKeeney. He is great-grandson of Vera Budman, Palco and nephew of Mikeal and Renea Williams, WaKeeney.
