Gene and Mary Zimmer, Hays, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of the their daughter, Kayleen Zimmer, to Bryan Martin, son of Tom and Nancy Martin, Hickman, Neb.

The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Thomas More Prep-Marian High School and graduate of University of Nebraska. She is a client services consultant at Kenexa, Lincoln, Neb.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2006 graduate of University of Nebraska. He is a sixth-grade teacher at Logan View Schools, and varsity volleyball and freshman boys' basketball coach in Fremont, Neb.

A June 6, 2009, wedding is planned at St. Mary Catholic Church, Lincoln, Neb.
