Larry and Joan Friend, Plainville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a come-and-go reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, Plainville.
Children of the couple are Jay and Dana Friend, Plainville, and Joey Friend, Norcross, Ga. They have three grandchildren, Hannah, Hayden and Halli Friend.
They were married Aug. 12, 1962, in Cimarron.
