Army Spc. Kevin A. Pinkerton was asked to say the Soldier's Creed for the Fourth of July celebration in Kosovo. The whole brigade was gathered during the celebration, and Pinkerton was asked to lead them in the creed.

Selection was based on the individual's exemplary duty performance, job knowledge, leadership qualities, teamwork, significant self-improvement, personal achievements, notable accomplishments, and community service and support.

Pinkerton is serving as a medical laboratory specialist at Fort Hood, Texas. He has served in the military for two year.

He is the son of Lisa K. and Robert A. Pinkerton, Logan, and husband of Kelsey.

Pinkerton is a 2007 graduate of Logan High School.
