DODGE CITY — The Hays High School volleyball team picked up three wins Thursday in a quad at Dodge City High School.

The Indians picked up wins against Sublette, Dodge City and Lakin, moving to 5-1 for the season.

The Indians defeated Sublette, 25-10, 25-13 behind 10 kills for Tasiah Nunnery. Hannah McGuire finished with seven assists and Kallie Leiker 11 digs for Hays High.

Against Dodge City, a 25-20, 25-16 HHS win, Nunnery had 10 kills and McGuire 13 assists, while Leiker finished with 20 digs. Jaycee Dale finished with eight blocks.

The only HHS match to go three sets, HHS defeated the Broncs, 25-16, 24-26, 25-20. Nunnery piled on 13 kills with McGuire getting 18 assists to go along with three aces. Nunnery had 18 digs and Dale finished with 15 blocks.

The Indians are back in action Sept. 14 in their home opener.
