CLAREMORE, Okla. — The Fort Hays State University men’s soccer team still is searching for its first win of the the season.

The Tigers dropped a 1-0 decision at Rogers State on Thursday. The loss moved FHSU to 0-2-1 this year.

Jaxon Pitt scored the game’s lone goal in the 63rd minute for Rogers State. It came off an assist from Kevin Kwarteng and got by FHSU goalie Michael Yantz.

The Hillcats outshot the Tigers 16-7 during the match. Yantz finished with nine saves, tying his career high.

Fort Hays will play against sixth-ranked Midwestern State on Saturday in Claremore, Okla.
