Led by three goals from Kayla Vitztum, the Thomas More Prep Marian girls' soccer team remained unbeaten with a 6-1 win at Wichita Independent on Saturday.

The Monarchs (4-0) struck first with a goal from Aubrey Koenigsman in the 13th minute, and Vitztum found the back of the net in the 22nd minute. Ashley Ostrander scored the final goal of the half in the 35th minute.

Ostrander put TMP up 4-0 about 14 minutes in the second half before Vitztum scored back-to-back goals in the 30th and 35th minutes.

Kortney Rowe had the only goal for Wichita Independent, scoring off a corner kick from Lea Coccetella in the second half.

Gracie Schmidt played first half in goal for TMP while Julia Cox and Allison Applequist split time in the second half.

The Monarchs will play at Garden City on Tuesday.
