BELOIT — Logan-Palco’s David Thompson rushed for three touchdowns as part of the East squad Saturday in the Eight-Man Division I All-Star Game at Trojan Field.

Thompson finished with 11 carries for 43 yards, helping the East to a 58-6 blowout against the West.

Logan-Palcos’ Riley Allen had two interceptions for the East.

The West’s lone touchdown came from Hoxie’s Chris Cox, a 2-yard scoring run in the third quarter to make it 38-6 East.

Osborne’s Denton Schurr added a 3-yard run for the East, which led 38-0 at halftime.

In the Division II All-Star Game, the East again dominated with a 50-12 victory. The West led 6-0 early, but it was all East from then. The East scored 50 straight points.

Hodgeman County’s Jacob Salmans scored on a 14-yard run to start the game for the West, then had a 24-yard pass for the game’s final score.
