LIBERAL — The Hays Larks picked up a 2-1 victory in a rain-shortened Jayhawk League game on Tuesday night.

Hays scored two runs in the second inning after a Liberal error with Matt Munoz driving in one of the runs.

The Bee Jays’ run came in the third inning. Hays extended the lead to 6-1 in the sixth, but the game was official after five innings with the Larks leading 2-1 when severe weather moved in.
