The Fort Hays State University track and field team will send three athletes to the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

The meet, held in Allendale, Mich., is scheduled for May 22 to 24.

Brady Tien, Madison Wolf and Samantha Woodburn will represent the Tigers.

Tien, a junior from Logan, enters the meet with the seventh-best mark in the pole vault. He set a personal best of 16 feet, 8.75 inches, 1.25 inches short of the school record. Tien will compete at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

Wolf, a freshman and the MIAA champion, holds the ninth-best mark in the nation in the javelin at 155-1.

The women's javelin event is Saturday at 1 p.m.

Woodburn, a junior, will compete in the 100- and 200-meter dashes. She placed third in both events at last week's MIAA Championships. Prelims for the 100 are Thursday at 5:25 p.m., and Friday at 4:45 p.m. for the 200. Finals for both events are Saturday.
