Tiger women's soccer falls to 2-2

COLORADO SPRINGS -- The Fort Hays State University women's soccer team fell to 2-2 on the season with a 3-0 loss to the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs on Friday night.

Wet field conditions led to a slow start for FHSU, which was held to two shots in the first half. The Tigers had eight shots in the second half, but only one on goal.

UCCS (3-0) clung to a 1-0 lead late into the second half before two late goals put the game away.

FHSU will play at Colorado State-Pueblo today at noon in Pueblo, Colo.
