Indian tennis competes at Abilene

ABILENE --  The Hays High School boys' tennis team competed at an invitational hosted by Abilene High School on Tuesday. The only win on the day for the Indians came from the No. 1 doubles team of Andrew McGinnis and Austin Berry, which defeated Concordia's No. 1 duo 8-0. McGinnis and Berry lost their other two matches 8-6 and 8-5.

Both the No. 1 and No. 2 singles players, Mikey Ploutz and Logan VanDerWege, went 0-3, as did the No. 2 doubles team of Jacob Alexander and Brayden Dreher. The Indians will next compete at Salina South on Thursday, beginning at 3 p.m.
