Two hurt in Phillips Co. accident

AGRA -- Two people were injured Thursday after vehicles collided on U.S. Highway 36.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 1996 Dodge minivan driven by Rhonda L. Gibson, 47, Kirwin, was rear-ended by a 2005 Pontiac driven by Alfred John Henke, 84, Colorado Springs, Colo.
Both vehicles were traveling eastbound when Gibson slowed to make a left-hand turn and was struck by Henke's vehicle, the KHP reported.
Both were taken to Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg for treatment of possible injuries. Both drivers were wearing seat belts, according to KHP.
