Ala. driver injured after semi overturns

GLADE -- An Alabama semi driver was injured Wednesday when his semi overturned 1 mile east of Glade on Kansas Highway 9.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported Bobby Joel Godsey, 39, Sulligent, Ala., was eastbound on the highway at approximately 12:20 p.m. Wednesday when he lost control of his semi, left the roadway and entered the south ditch, where the semi overturned on the passenger side.

Godsey was wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP report. He was taken to Phillips County Hospital with injuries.
