Movie to depict women's hardships

Screening of the movie "Iron Jawed Angels," set for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in Cody Commons at Fort Hays State University's Memorial Union, will depict the hardships women faced in acquiring the right to vote.

The movie, sponsored by FHSU's Women's Leadership Project, dramatizes the American Women's Suffrage Movement from 1912 to 1920.

Following the movie, members of the FHSU history department will share additional facts about the era.
