9/20/2012
Activities for Thomas More Prep-Marian High School's 2012 homecoming have been going on all week. Public events will begin today with a 7:30 p.m. blessing of fall sports and activities in Al Billinger Fieldhouse.
The homecoming candidates will be introduced, followed by a pep rally and a bonfire outdoors.
The school will be open for tours beginning at 9 a.m. Friday, and the annual homecoming parade down Main Street is set for 5:30 p.m., followed by the football game versus Ellsworth at 7 at Fort Hays State University's Lewis Field Stadium.
Reunions of various honors classes are planned throughout the weekend at various sites across town.
A Mass for deceased alumni is scheduled for 11 a.m., which will be followed by the dedication of a new St. Thomas More statue in front of the building.
There will be a noon dutch lunch in the cafeteria, and the annual alumni banquet and dance are Saturday night at the Fanchon.
