LINDSBORG, Kan. (AP) -- Bethany College has its second-largest spring enrollment since 2005.

The private Lutheran college in Lindsborg reports total enrollment of 519 students at the 20-day mark of the spring semester. That's about the same as last year, but a 7 percent increase from 2008.

More than half the students are from Kansas. Other states with strong representation at Bethany include California, Colorado and Texas.
