CPA group sees more than 200 sign up for Wichita conference

(MCT) The Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants plans to hold a statewide conference in Wichita next week that will focus on governments and nonprofits.

An official of the Topeka-based group said Tuesday that 235 people have signed up to attend the the Governmental Nonprofit Accounting & Auditing Conference June 9-10 at the Hyatt Regency Wichita.

The keynote speaker at the conference will be Stephen Gauthier, director of the Technical Services Center of the Government Finance Officer Association.
