PITTSBURG, Kan. (AP) -- Like most of the St. Patrick's Day revelers at McCarthy's Pub in Pittsburg, Charlott Engstrom has a taste for green beer.

But here's where she's different: On Wednesday, the Pittsburg woman knocking down the emerald-colored beverage turned 104 years old.

Engstrom and family members have celebrated her birthday at the local watering hole ever since she reached 100 and wanted to see what all the fuss was about inside the Irish pub.

Her family says she has some Irish blood in her and enjoys a good party.

Her granddaughter says Engstrom moved out of a nursing home when she was 98 because she thought it had just old people.

But she was the oldest one there.
