Man shot to death in Pottawatomie County

ST. MARYS, Kan. (AP) -- One man is in custody after an apparent homicide in the small Pottawatomie County town of St. Marys.

The county sheriff says a 24-year-old Rossville man was found shot to death inside a car Wednesday morning after the car pulled up to the police station and passengers flagged down officers.

A 21-year-old St. Marys man who was also in the car was taken into custody. The victim's name has not been released.
