PITTSBURG, Kan. (AP) -- A 32-year-old woman from southeast Kansas has been sentenced to more than 25 years in prison for her role in a 2010 murder.

The Pittsburg Morning Sun reports (http://bit.ly/18aXpaD ) reports that Amie Lee Ryburn was sentenced Monday to 25 years and four months after pleading guilty to second-degree murder and felony manufacture of methamphetamines.

The charges stem from the July 2010 death of 29-year-old Ian P. Monaghan, whose body was found in a field in rural Pittsburg.

A co-defendant, Charles Mitchell, is scheduled for trial in late July.
