SIERRA MADRE, Calif. (AP) -- Fire officials say another round of evacuations is under way for residents in the foothills near Pasadena as a wildfire continues to burn out of control.

Elisa Weaver of the Arcadia Fire Department says 200 hundred homes were evacuated Saturday night and residents from 100 other properties were being told to leave Sunday.

The wildfire is burning its way through about 350 acres of dense brush near Sierra Madre, a San Gabriel Mountains foothill community of about 11,000.

Weaver says the fire is about 5 percent contained.
